  5. "Cecilia" is a song by American music duo Simon & Garfunkel, released in April as the third single from the group's fifth studio album, Bridge over Troubled Water. Written by Paul Simon, the song's origins lie in a late-night party, in which the duo and friends began banging on a piano bench. They recorded the sound with a tape recorder, employing reverb and matching the rhythm B-side: "The Only Living Boy in New York".

  6. Oct 14,  · I like this two CD set better than the 5 CD "SIMON & GARFUNKEL: THE COLUMBIA STUDIO RECORDINGS/ It's not repetitive and easier to listen to on a long road trip. It took me a while to be able to access the second CD in the very tight "clam shell," but I found the selections to be excellent and got the item at a G-R-E-A-T price on-line/5().

  7. With the CD version you also get a nice booklet with liner notes for each song and some photos of the duo in action. Anyway, this is a nice collection of oldies from Simon & Garfunkel, which was the start of Paul Simon's successful musical career. Good remastering, good music, and a great price/5(K).
